Truly there is no one like you, oh Lord,
in the heavens or on the earth.
For you are great in love and mercy;
your faithfulness has no end.

You have given your servants life, and it is by your hand we are sustained.
You provide our food and drink, and your breath fills our lungs.

With my brothers and sisters, I give you praise.
We come together with one heart – to worship you.

Oh that you would build us together, into a house to host your presence!
It is what we long for.

Hear our longing for you, oh Lord.
Meet us in the secret place, and dwell in our midst.
